Dan Richardson started teaching at Kennedy in 2004. He teaches ninth grade English, tenth grade English, and various electives such as Teen Literature and Poetry. Dan co-advises the Kennedy Guitar Club and is on the AVID Site Committee. Before coming to Kennedy, he taught high school English for three years in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. From 1996-2001, he worked for the Brooklyn Public Library in the Adult Literacy Program.
He received a Masters in Secondary English Education from Brooklyn College in 2003, a Masters in English Literature from New York University in 1995, and a B.A. in English from Rutgers University in 1990. He lives in Saint Louis Park and insists that pop is called soda.
