I teach in the FACS department (Family and Consumer Science) and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). I teach Early Childhood Development, Introduction to Foods, Career and Personal Development, Introduction to Education, Relationships and AVID. I started my career at Kennedy High School in 1995. I enjoy FACS and AVID because I believe the classes are crucial to developing life skills.
I studied at the University of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree in Family Social Science. I continued with my studies and received my Masters of Education.
I enjoy walking, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, yoga, pilates, boating, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
